Day 7 - Nanchang

Today we finished all required paperwork. The last paperwork took them literally 30 seconds to just snap Mei's picture. After this we went to see Tengwang pavilion, which is located on big river with beautiful views.

There was little traditional performance on top of this pavilion. The actress were dressed in Chinesse dresses, sang and danced with some traditional music. It was really nice, our children also seem to enjoy.

And here is awesome grandma and Mei.
We also took a walk to nearby park. It was interesting walk through what I expect for China to look like. In Beijing it seemed to me it was much closer to our lifestyle, but not Nanchang. Nanchang is closer to my expectation. And the drivers are much worst here too.

Here if you can see is little boy going #1 into the bike pad. It is very typical here. Just watch where you stepping.

What we learned about Mei:

  • She does not like to be in stroller
  • Walking through city freaks her out
  • She does not appreciate when people touched her
  • She believes that whatever we eat or drink she can have and wants (coffee, wine)
  • She is strong. She almost pulled poor Marco down from the chair because he had a juice box that she wanted. Marco before her never had to fight over anything and it is not in his nature. I am sorry for him, he will have to adjust to this strong willed lady. She will also have to learn some boundaries
We had first harder cry episod which lasted about minute or two. Her foot got stuck in high chair and momma just could not figure it out, than daddy came to safe the situation.
